Psalm of Lament

God I know you will always hear me.

But when my heart feels so heavy, it’s hard to find the words to pray.

When world events appear too terrible, I know only you can give comfort.

Little children are so precious to you, why do they have to suffer?

Please hear my cry, and give me peace and comfort in my distress.
